Hughes organized “FinConnect” –
a seminar on networking forays in Banking, Finance,
Security & Insurance (BFSI) sector
on June 27, 2008 in Mumbai. The seminar revolved
around the Trends & Penetration in the BFSI
industry & its impact on Technology &
Networking. Hughes launched mesh IP broadband
satellite system known as HX, Optimized VPN
to provide broadband services. There was an
insight into HughesNet Technologies & Services
& were Case studies by the industry at the
later part of the event.

Hughes organized “TradeCom” –
a panel discussion on latest networking technologies
& best practices in the broking domain.
The panel discussion revolved around the ‘Changing
role of technology in Broking’. The top-notch
professionals from the industry discussed the
usage of technology in the broking domain. The
event took place at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on June
27, 2008.
